Wrinkle relaxers temporarily soften selected expression lines. Changes develop over time rather than immediately, and duration differs between products and individuals. Your injector will explain when to assess your result and arrange follow-up.
Injectable wrinkle relaxers use botulinum toxin type A to temporarily reduce activity in selected facial muscles.
DAXXIFY and LETYBO are FDA-approved for temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. XEOMIN is approved for moderate to severe upper facial lines, including frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet, in adults.
Approved areas vary by product. Your provider will explain any proposed off-label use, benefits, and risks.

DAXXIFY is an option for adults considering treatment of moderate to severe lines between the eyebrows. Its formulation uses a peptide. In the manufacturer’s clinical studies, more than half of patients had no or minor frown lines through six months, as assessed by both patients and physicians. Your own duration may differ; six months is not a guaranteed result.
LETYBO is a botulinum toxin type A treatment approved for moderate to severe lines between the eyebrows in adults. Discuss your previous toxin experience, desired change and maintenance preferences with your injector. The manufacturer reports results lasting up to four months; individual response varies.
XEOMIN is approved for moderate to severe upper facial lines in adults, including frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. Its formulation does not contain complexing proteins. The manufacturer describes results typically lasting approximately three to four months; your response and treatment plan may differ.
There is no single best product for everyone. We assess your facial movement, anatomy, health history, prior treatments and goals, then explain the proposed product, areas, dose, recovery and total quote. Units are not interchangeable between products. Any proposed off-label treatment requires a separate discussion.

Repeated facial movement can contribute to expression lines. Wrinkle relaxers may soften selected lines by temporarily reducing muscle activity. They do not replace lost facial volume or address every cause of skin aging. Your consultation helps distinguish whether wrinkle relaxers, fillers, or skin treatments fit your concerns.
A consultation is needed to determine whether wrinkle relaxers are appropriate for you. Your provider will review your concerns, medical history, allergies, medications, previous injectable treatments, and treatment goals before recommending a plan.
Tell your provider about any muscle or nerve conditions, swallowing or breathing problems, an infection near the proposed injection area, and whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy. Not everyone is a suitable candidate.
Before your appointment, share a complete list of prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and supplements with your provider. Include previous botulinum toxin treatments and the date of your most recent treatment.

Do not stop or change prescribed medicines, including aspirin or blood thinners, without guidance from the clinician who prescribed them. Our team can help coordinate questions with that clinician and provide preparation instructions suited to your medical history and planned treatment.
Redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising can occur after injections. Headache or eyelid drooping are other possible effects. Follow the instructions provided for your treatment and contact our team with concerns.
Botulinum toxin effects can rarely spread beyond the injection area. Seek immediate medical care for trouble breathing, swallowing, or speaking. Review the product’s full safety information with your provider.
